T-Shirts

Taking my jaybird sitting in the willow tree drawing I am experimenting with bleach on t-shirts. I have simplified the image for the first attempt to get a feeling for the materials. I plan to revisit the idea with more complex designs.

Awful image quality, better images to follow.

Fashion Collaboration

A colleague and friend of mine is in her third year, studying Fashion at Sheffield Hallam University, she is currently working on her final collection. As part of a collaboration she sent me a few images that were inspiring the collection, below are the images I created in response.

My own little gallery

My dining room has been redecorated and pretty much coverted into a permanent collection of my works.
A mixture of works from foundation and a level

Between projects

I am awaiting my new brief on monday morning, so thought I would play around with some tshirts. I went tie dye crazy last week, i turned to sharpie marker pens now.

I made a couple more tie dye shirts, but didn't get round to photographing them before I gave one to my dad for his birthday and one for Matt as a leaving present.

From wall designs, to tshirts.

It was so much harder to draw on fabric than I thought, I need to find a way to keep the fabric taught.
